City to Surf 2009
Edge Health Club is taking another group of excited clients to this years City to Surf! Many new members are attending, and looking to achieve something they never would have thought possible before starting their exercise programs. We have TRIPLED the amount of members coming, and wish everyone the best of luck. Congratulations to all who are making the big step to complete one of Australias iconic events.

Weight managment seminar on in August
Charlie Hunter from 'League Of Their Own' is presenting - How to stop losing weight and start losing FAT. A 2 hour seminar on at the Club on August 22nd from 1030 to 1230. Topics include: Psychology of eating & deiting, Eating for all the wrong reasons, Changing old habits, Proteins Carbs and Fats, The difference between yo-yo dieting and burning fat, Motivation, Language of your body and Marketing. Heartmoves is here!
The Heart Foundation and Edge Health Club have launched 'Heartmoves', a low to moderate exercise program managed by the Heart Foundation, suitable for anyone who hasn't done any exercise in a while. You can start gently in a friendly atmosphere and exercise at your own pace. It is run by Joshua Makings, our rehabilitation specialist who also works at the Canberra Hospital. It is open to anyone and designed to be safe for people with stable long term health conditions such as cardiac or diabetic conditions.
